- Non Volatile memory NVM:
In Non Volatile memory (NVM) data is saved in case of power removal or power breakdown to the memory. It saves data permanently until removed manually. It normally used in computers and other electronic industrial and domestic equipments and appliances.

EPROM is a type of memory which retains data in case of power failure. It stands of Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory. It is also a non volatile electrical memory which is mainly used in computers and other electronic devices to save permanent data.

EEPROM Stands for Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory. It is a non volatile memory which means it stores data untill it is erased electrically. It will not washed out when power failure occured.
